We get really, I mean really, lucky with how awesome our couples are and when Chandra contacted us in regards to helping her plan her wedding, we knew she would fit in perfectly with our Kyle Michelle Weddings family. Chandra and Cleveland live in Maryland but wanted to get married close to their families who live in New Jersey. During Chandra’s first phone call with us she was happy and excited and just wanted something simple and something that would represent who she and Cleveland were as a couple. Chandra wanted the ceremony to be outdoors and after we checked out a bevy of outdoor locations, we all decided on the gorgeous lawn and gazebo at The Mansion in Voorhees, NJ. The reception was held in one of the grand ballrooms at Maggiano’s in Cherry Hill, NJ. Now the only thing we needed was for the weather and the temperature to be perfect for the ceremony. And it was!! We were so captivated by the Praise Dance! Mr. & Mrs. Congratulations Chandra and Cleveland!! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your perfect day!

You’ve probably seen vintage, modern, rustic, contemporary and country themed weddings. Have you ever experienced a surprise wedding? We have! Kyle and Jacquie are quite…ah…awesome and to surprise their family and friends was the only way for them to get married. Yep, everyone was under the impression they were attending a surprise party for the bride-Jacquie. I know! Keep reading, it gets better! Guests received invitations months in advance with Kyle calling their family and friends and swearing them to secrecy. He played it off so very well. On the day of the event guests arrived to the Lexington, a boat that tours the Hudson River. The guests arrived ready for a birthday party. 30 minutes later, Kyle had secretly changed into a handsome suit and Jacquie arrived in a gorgeous wedding dress escorted by her dad. Shock and Awe! The ceremony got under way as the Lexington pushed away from the dock and the sun began to set. I KNOW! Who wouldn't want to get married with that view? One of my favorite pictures! If you thought that was it, you would be wrong. After the couple was greeted by all of their guests, Jacquie and Kyle surprised them again with tickets to the Zac Brown Band concert at Madison Square Garden-Box Suites. Jacquie and Kyle reserved four box suites for their guests to party and enjoy an awesome band-their favorite-and a great celebration of their marriage. It was honestly such an incredible day and an impressive event! Congratulations Jacquie and Kyle! Thank you for letting us be a part of your extraordinary day! Ceremony: The Lexington

And by "bars", I mean the eating kind! From candy bars to popcorn bars, they have become a crowd favorite and are often demolished by nights end. We love them, not because of how they taste, but how they look! However, the newest trend may take hold as couples are using trucks to wow their friends and family. Yep, trucks, ice cream trucks, doughnut trucks, cup cake trucks and even Philly cheese steak trucks! Not sure if bars and truck will fade out as time goes on, or if they will become the new norm. Either way, weddings should tell a story about the couple! Friends and family will appreciate the added touches and will surely remember how their night ended eating cereal or sharing in a childhood favorite in front of the ice cream truck.
