Mary and Alex proved the perfect couple to kick off the Summer wedding season. Their wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all took place in Morris Arboretum, located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The location, very much like the couple themselves, was bright and beautiful on the day of the wedding. We enjoyed every minute we spent planning Mary and Alex's big day and Sharyn did an incredible job capturing the beauty of the entire event! The bridesmaids and the groomsmen had fun throughout the entire day - they were the perfect group of people to match Mary and Alex's playful personalities! Alex was involved in the entire planning process, but his biggest concern was that Mary remained happy. Their love for each other was reflected in their emotional ceremony, where Alex couldn't take his eyes off his beautiful bride and Mary lovingly held her new husband's hand throughout the entire ceremony. As Mary and Alex made their way down the aisle, Mary couldn't stop smiling and Alex mouthed "thank you" to us. The following cocktail hour and reception was filled with laughing and TONS of dancing. Leaves of Grass florals completely decorated the reception area into a woodland wonderland for the couple and the guests loved the photobooth and candy bar set up inside. We loved that the newlyweds picked a unique song, "Everlasting Light" by The Black Keys, for their first dance - it couldn't have been more romantic! Thank you Mary and Alex for including us in your big day - we love you two and wish you the best in your new life together! ~Emily Venue: Morris Arboretum

When someone compliments you on your dress and you're not even the bride Every wedding is different, but there are definitely situations at every wedding that we can all relate to or find some humor in. If you've been to a few weddings this season I'm sure you'll recognize a moment or two! When you find out it's an open bar When they're butlering hor dourves and you haven't eaten all day When you spot the ring bearer or flower girl looking cute as a button When the buffet opens When dinner is plated and you're waiting for everyone at the table to be served before you eat During the bride and groom's first dance When someone's toast goes on for way too long When the DJ/band plays your jam but dinner is still being served By the end of the main course When you're single and spy a cutie When things start to get a little out of control on the dance floor When the photographer walks by When they start cutting the cake When you make your sober significant other or friend drive home
