This wedding was such a breathe of fresh (sea) air. Jessica and AJ were so adorable and giddy throughout their day - no one had to force them to smile for a picture - as you can see from the below photos... They exchanged their "I Do's" at Saint Marys Church and continued their celebration at Bonnet Island Estate. The sophisticated color scheme, acrylic details, and florals put a classy feel on this black-tie, LBI Wedding. This day was so perfect and we wish we could see their smiling faces all over again! This exit was everything and made for the perfect photo-op! Everyone sees rice, flower petals and even sparklers - but who has ever done bubblers before? Love this! This green wall was the perfect statement piece for this wedding. This is a great way to do your escort board as well as add a funky neon sign for flare! A little tip for all you engaged couples - when looking for a LED sign for your wedding day, buy something that you can re-use (in a man cave or a bar)!! And to end... This photo-op was amazing! We love you Jessica & Andrew! Venue: Bonnet Island Estate

Oh, I just love this wedding – this couple – these families! One of our favorite places for couples to get married is at their family home. Whether that is a farm, a newly purchased house to make into home, or in this case a house at the shore (I’m sorry…down the shore) on Long Beach Island. Brenna’s parents (who are beyond fabulous people) have a gorgeous house in Brant Beach on LBI – this was where Brenna wanted to celebrate her marriage. They had celebrated so many great moments in that house, it only made sense they also celebrate their perfect day. And speaking of perfect day…the weather wasn’t as perfect as we had hoped. During the rehearsal the sky opened and it seemed like it was never going to shut - to the point where the island was starting to seriously flood (eeeekkk!!). The morning of the wedding the sun was trying to peek out of the clouds but it was inevitable that we were going to see rain. This is when I officially fell in love with Brenna. The sky was falling and her reaction was a shrug of the shoulders and a “whattaya gunna do?” You go girl! You handle rain on your wedding day (and a tented reception) with that much nonchalance and grace…you are officially my new best friend! I am so obsessed with this picture! If I was only to post one picture to describe this wedding...this one may be it! We snuck/broke into a small theatre and used the only light we could find...and this happened.... Oh, and this too... And then we got caught...but they turned the lights on for us and we took one more picture! The entertainment for the cocktail hour played to the beach feel (even through the rain) of Brenna and Greg’s day, a phenomenal Reggae Band – The Verdict. Oh, and a raw bar to boot – yes, please! The reception was flawless! Two tents flanked the house, one a clear top for cocktail hour, dancing and the bands and the other a gorgeous cloth draped tent with delicate chandeliers and long farm tables embellished with floral/candles runners for dinner. This was a celebration – a party – an event! If we could bottle up everything about this wedding, we totally would and NO we won’t sell it…we would keep it for ourselves!
