Alex and Steve - Ellis Preserve

Welcome to another 'COVID-Switcheroo Part 157'.

Alex and Steve were a different story, as they were not forced to swap their date, but to swap their venue location. They were originally getting married at Union Trust in Philadelphia and had to switch to a PA venue, where the rules and regulations are different, Ellis Preserve. We had to then transform their Black and Gold, dark and modern wedding into a lighter and more contemporary ballroom vibe, this is where we had to intertwine a little bit of silver and white into the mix.

When we heard the bride and groom wanted a 'black and gold wedding' we jumped at the opportunity of uniqueness. We designed everything from the Invitations to the Day-Of Signage (Escort Mirror, Welcome Sign, Photo Booth Guestbook, Timeline, Cards & Gifts, Signature Drink Sign and lastly, The Cigar Bar). We even brought a bottle of spray-paint to color some of the greenery gold and black... Shh... Everything came together perfectly and we're so happy that Alex and Steve were able to enjoy their special day!

First look or no first look? That is the question! A big PRO of doing a first look is the amount of time you can preserve for more picture taking, you can knock out all of the photos before cocktail hour and the couple can then truly enjoy their cocktail hour and have a drink...or two ;)

Okay, get ready, here it comes... We call this one; "Signage Galore". All custom-made by Kyle Michelle Weddings! 

Fun Wedding Hack: If you don't want a Photo Booth or it just can't fit into your budget, grab a few disposable cameras or polaroids and let your guests take their own photos and of course, leave one for you! This is such a fun idea and will be a great memory. 

This menu was so fun to create on Minted, it pulled all of the colors together perfectly; silver, gold, white and black. We also made these quick hand sanitizers for each place setting.

...and then we danced the night away!

What a day & night with these two! We absolutely loved every single of this planning process, (even if we were given some curve balls (COVID)). We wish Alex and Steve nothing, but the best and can't want to plan some of their future events.
