This wedding is special to us as it was smack-dab in the middle of the COVID season. We had no choice but to move this New York City 300-person wedding, to the brides parent's shore house in Mantoloking, NJ and cut the guest list to 80 people. We tented up their backyard, which was luckily on the water with an amazing view. We had to switch some of the design aspects, as it turned into a much smaller venue and an even different feel (shore vs. city) and (outdoors vs. indoors.) This is one of the big perks of having a wedding planner - we know how to take the unexpected and turn it into something memorable and beautiful! We ended up having an elegant and classy micro- wedding in the backyard of this amazing shore house, oh and later it turned into a fun party with confetti poppers, live music and lots of booze! Let's take a look and dive deeper into this covid switcheroo. I don't know about you, but I think this wedding was perfect as is and wouldn't have been better anywhere else. This sweetheart table absolutely blew us away. Thank you (florist) for making this design come to life! Also... um hello Sailboat, would you like to join the party? What a perfect photo Brett Mathews! This was by far, my favorite part of this wedding. We secretly handed out 100 confetti poppers to the guests and the second that '(I've Had) Time of My Life' came on, everyone popped them. Oh and they did the lift, YUP they stuck the landing! It was absolutely breathtaking and we will be using these again in the future! Also, the photo-app is incredible! Venue: Private Residence in Mantoloking, NJ
