Colin & Alex were easily the most relaxed couple I had ever seen on a wedding day. They fully embraced their love for each other the entire day and knew that stressing about the everyday wedding-day concerns wasn't worth it, thats our job! Even though there was a slight mist in the air, these two did not let it stop them from cruising around Philadelphia to get some great shots with Grace D Photography. How adorable is their matching lining! The perfect touch! We are so happy that Colin & Alex chose us for their wedding day! We wish them a lifetime of happiness and love!

As soon as something becomes the "next big thing" in the wedding industry, it seems to show up everywhere. When you're planning your wedding so far in advance it may be tough to stay on trend. Here's some of the top trends for 2018 and what trends have come and gone. Top Trends: Statement Escort Boards Play up a fun wedding theme or let your personalities come out with your escort board! Guests will love the creativity and the fact that everything is "insta-worthy" doesn't hurt either. Creative Bars Another trend that hasn't gone out of style are creative food or drink bars. Everything is completely customizable and you can bring a unique vibe to any reception or cocktail hour. Non-Traditional Venues The days of being confined to a regular reception space are in the past. If that's what your vision is, there's nothing wrong with that but the world is your oyster. Backyards, museums, aquariums, libraries, even the great outdoors... nothing is off limits. Understated Bouquets Bridal Bouquets have been becoming more lush and understated for a few years but 2018 is the biggest year for them. Translucent Tents These tents give your wedding a chic, modern and clean vibe while also keeping your party safe from inclement weather... best of both worlds! Trends to Avoid |
Rose Gold Everything this color is great in smaller quantities but going overboard... sooooo 2017 Overwhelming Food "Experiences" While it's great to give your guests options, you don't want to overwhelm them or not have selections everyone will enjoy. Also waiting on lines is a huge bummer and takes time away from the party! Large Bridal Parties A trend we've seen happening over the years is that bridal parties are getting smaller. The average is now 4 bridesmaids and groomsmen. A great alternative is giving friends and family meaningful roles in the ceremony so they're still included! |
Royal Wedding Copycats Your wedding should be unique to you and your fiancé. Of course we all can't wait to see what Meghan and Harry's wedding will look like but the best thing to do is take inspiration from it. Expecting any wedding to look exactly like theirs or Will and Kate's is just unrealistic. Embrace your own taste and style! |
Having a wedding at your family home is such a unique experience and it made Cassie and Luke's day even more special. The renovated barn in Pilesgrove, NJ was so picturesque it would be a surprise to anyone that it wasn't an actual wedding venue. We were here for Cassie's sister LeeAnn's wedding and couldn't wait to work with another member of the family! The weather was perfect and the party atmosphere didn't stop all night. Take a look at this amazing wedding!
The bouquets were a perfect match to the burgundy bridesmaids dresses.
The barn with the hanging greenery is everything!!
Thank you Cassie and Luke for letting us be a part of your special day!!
