Having a wedding at your family home is such a unique experience and it made Cassie and Luke's day even more special. The renovated barn in Pilesgrove, NJ was so picturesque it would be a surprise to anyone that it wasn't an actual wedding venue. We were here for Cassie's sister LeeAnn's wedding and couldn't wait to work with another member of the family! The weather was perfect and the party atmosphere didn't stop all night. Take a look at this amazing wedding!
The bouquets were a perfect match to the burgundy bridesmaids dresses.
The barn with the hanging greenery is everything!!
Thank you Cassie and Luke for letting us be a part of your special day!!
When first met LeeAnn and Matt, they came to our office to sit down and discuss the potential of us working together in planning their wedding. As LeeAnn walked us through her vision for the day, she mentioned that she was holding the reception in her parent’s barn. The barn was currently being used to house tractors, one being hers that her father fixed up so she could race – yes race, and the barn was too small to hold her estimated guest count of 250. Well, ask and you shall receive. LeeAnn’s dad decided he needed a larger barn anyway, and his daughter’s wedding was a good enough excuse to make it happen.
Such sweet moments captured at Lee Ann's church she grew up going to!
Josiah & Steph did such a great job capturing all of Lee Ann and Matt's special moments!!
Who knew a family barn could be transformed into such a beautiful venue? We did!!
Gorgeous floral design done by A Garden Party!
Such a genuine moment! Matt signing Lee Ann's favorite song!
Time Of Your Life Entertainment kept these guests on their feet all night!
Sparklers added such a nice touch for guests to send this couple off!
We are lucky to meet people from all over the globe and help them marry their soulmates, but it was an absolute pleasure meeting with LeeAnn, Matt and their families throughout the entire process. You’d be hard pressed to find sweeter people.
Thank you Lee Ann and Matt for letting us be apart of your special day! We wish you nothing but the best in this new chapter of your lives!

I have been a bridesmaid in a dozen weddings, add Kristin and Olivia and our count is closer to 5 or 6-dozen. Being wedding planners, who have done a bazillion (okay, maybe not that many) weddings, we have seen a bouquet (oh, yes, I did) of different bridesmaid dresses. Each bride has their own design idea, which makes it fun for us to ogle over the dresses when we see them.
The four main fashions we have seen are:
1.) All bridesmaids wear the exact same dress-exact same color.
2.) Bridesmaids in exact same styles-exact same color, maid-of-honor in different style-exact same color.
3.) Bridesmaids in different dress styles-exact same color.
4.) Free-Style, bridesmaids are able to pick any dress they choose in the same color family.
We have yet to do a themed wedding-but think it would be crazy fun!

Kristin and I fell in love with Ingrid and Sean-as everyone does when they meet them. We also fell in love with their families. We started working with Ingrid a year before she and Sean married. In that year’s time, we couldn’t get enough of them. Throughout the year we met several times at Ingrid’s grandparents house on Harvey Cedars -Long Beach Island, New Jersey. It was where the ceremony was to be held and it was breath taking. A view that only pictures do justice. It was a blank slate and we were so excited to get our hands on it.
Ingrid wanted a French/English vintage feel, while still keeping it relevant to the space-the beach. Their reception was booked at the Brant Beach Yacht Club on LBI, NJ-another space we could dive into.
This was one of those weddings where you just can’t wait for it to arrive, yet you really don’t want it to be over because then you have to say goodbye. On their day everything was perfection: the weather, the views, the details, the bridal party, their families and especially the bride and groom.
As guests arrived to the ceremony, they entered a pre-ceremony cocktail party-this was a must! With the views and the gorgeous ambience there was no way we were going to just have Ingrid and Sean’s guest get straight to the ceremony. It was a necessity that they got the chance to take it all in.
The pre-ceremony cocktail hour was furnished with an old dresser without drawers. Inset in the drawer openings were mason jars, adorned with stripped straws, for the guests to get a drink-a choice of tea or flavored water. In an old Sunfish Sailboat was a galvanized bucket flush with beer and bottled water. A driftwood sign pointed guests in the right direction and twine balls pinned with pictures of family and friends hung from a tree.
Incase guests didn’t want to trek through the stone in heels-flip flips were offered
As it was time for the ceremony to start the guests made their way towards the back of the house where the ceremony was being held
It doesn’t get more gorgeous than this.
People always ask you the question of whether you look at the Bride as she is walking down the aisle to see her face or if you look at the expecting groom to see his reaction…my favorite is watching the groom. As Sean saw Ingrid step around the side of the house with her father his reaction was the best we have seen so far.
He didn't cry, he couldn't do anything-he was completely in awe!
We truly enjoy when the wedding parties are just as much fun as the bride and groom. We are pretty sure Ingrid and Sean do not have any family or friends who aren’t stunning!
When we saw Ingrid and Sean’s pictures, everyone in the office almost fell out of their seats. We knew Ingrid and Sean were a beautiful couple but in these pictures they brought it!
The yacht club was gorgeous with the fall sun setting during cocktail hour. The tables were perfect with centerpieces of assorted mercury glass vases, candles and dahlias. The food, catered by Fleur de Lys, was delicious and picturesque. Each table was given monkey bread-a favorite of the groom (also his groom cake-made by his Mother-In-Law). And the party was lead by the most incredible band from EBE-Amsterdam!
To Ingrid and Sean, we can not thank you enough for allowing us to be part of your lives and your big day! We wish you the best and hope our paths cross again (that means you Katy!)! To your family and friends, thank you for making this day so special for Ingrid and Sean-we loved getting to know all of you too.

A backyard wedding is one of my favorites, a big reason, I had a backyard wedding too! A wedding hosted in the backyard of someones home is special, unique and never duplicated. Amy and Doc's wedding was nothing short of special & unique. With over 200 guests Amy's Aunt and Uncle offered their home for this memorable occasion.
A beautiful gown embellished with a simple black sash-stunning!
This family was nothing short of loving and supportive, fun and fabulous!
And quite funny!
Not to mention beautiful!
Simple aisle decor to accent the beautiful property!
So happy and in love, you can't fake that smile-even if you tried!
This little guy was adorable and the most perfect ring bearer!
Although I am from the south, I was shamefully unaware of this most southern tradition or rather folklore, that states; if you bury a bottle of bourbon, upside down and exactly one month from the day you are to be married at the side of the ceremony, it won't rain on your wedding day. Let's just say...it worked!
We absolutely enjoyed working with Amy and Doc, making sure their backyard ceremony went off without a hitch. From flower delivery, chair set up, aisle decor, timing, transportation and ceremony guidance we were honored to make it all happen for Amy & Doc.
My little ring bearer helper-such a cutie! I'm pretty sure he was flirting with me ;)

Meghan knew what bridesmaid dresses she wanted even before she found her own dress! She knew she wanted navy blue, and had seen the dresses through a friends pictures on facebook. She did some research and found they were Twobirds Bridesmaid dresses. They were perfect, that is all except the price! Since Meghan was getting married in Philadelphia, her entire bridal party would be traveling from out of town. That means they would have to pay for flights and accommodations. Adding a $260 dress seemed a bit lavish. But, her bridesmaids were all willing to pay the hefty price for the perfect bridesmaid dress. After months of debating, Meghan searched the internet desperate to find a different dress, at a better price. And...she did!!! In fact she found the same dress made by isadoraclothing on etsy. The price $124, even better! I have to say Meghan was on pins and needles until the day they showed up. She had her fiancé take one out of the box and text her a picture while she was at work, and as soon as she was at home she tried one on and sent all her girls a picture of how perfect they turned out! The dresses were exactly what she wanted and at a great price. We would recommend isadoraclothing to anyone looking for a dress that is suitable for any body type, elegant, yet different!
So, now that we found the perfect dress, we were on the hunt for some cool shoes to spice it up...yep that means green shoes! We found them after weeks of internet searching and reading many blogs about "green shoes!" We found the perfect pair on zappos, they are Nina Electra Apple Green, not only do they look great, but they are pretty comfortable for a 4" heel! The price, after a sale on zappos, $69.00!
