A backyard wedding is one of my favorites, a big reason, I had a backyard wedding too! A wedding hosted in the backyard of someones home is special, unique and never duplicated. Amy and Doc's wedding was nothing short of special & unique. With over 200 guests Amy's Aunt and Uncle offered their home for this memorable occasion.
A beautiful gown embellished with a simple black sash-stunning!
This family was nothing short of loving and supportive, fun and fabulous!
And quite funny!
Not to mention beautiful!
Simple aisle decor to accent the beautiful property!
So happy and in love, you can't fake that smile-even if you tried!
This little guy was adorable and the most perfect ring bearer!
Although I am from the south, I was shamefully unaware of this most southern tradition or rather folklore, that states; if you bury a bottle of bourbon, upside down and exactly one month from the day you are to be married at the side of the ceremony, it won't rain on your wedding day. Let's just say...it worked!
We absolutely enjoyed working with Amy and Doc, making sure their backyard ceremony went off without a hitch. From flower delivery, chair set up, aisle decor, timing, transportation and ceremony guidance we were honored to make it all happen for Amy & Doc.
My little ring bearer helper-such a cutie! I'm pretty sure he was flirting with me ;)

Kristin and I met Dani Jill and her mother Molly via Skype in April 2012 while Dani Jill was visiting her Mom on vacation in Florida. Dani Jill knew exactly what she wanted but lived in Texas and was planning on having her wedding in New Jersey at her soon to be mother-in-law’s farm.
Dani Jill had most of what she envisioned for her wedding day pinned on Pinterest (oh, technology...still amazes me!). With her ideas and ours we helped plan the perfect day. Kristin and I knew the exact bridal bouquet she wanted and what she wanted for centerpieces, so in order to help ease some of costs that comes with a wedding we offered to make her bouquet as well as her bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres for the groom, groomsman, and fathers as well as the wrist corsages for the Mothers and Grandmothers. For the centerpieces, Dani Jill’s family had mason jars and we had flowers and twine!
Dani Jill also wanted a fun way to display her escort cards and favors (lottery tickets) and I had an old, glass paned door…perfect match. Kristin and I roughed up the door by sanding all the edges then strung twine in horizontal rows down the door and using the teeniest, tiniest, clothespins everything came together.
We could not have had anymore fun planning this wedding and anymore fun with Dani Jill and Aaron’s families. Aaron’s Mothers farm was breath taking and so was the bride!
This day started with two families coming together and ended with homemade Strawberry Wine and Moonshine!

We had such a great time coordinating Marti and Nick's wedding this past weekend. Marti was the most organized, prepared, layed back bride we've ever encountered! From the moment we met she and Nick, we knew they would be a great couple to work with. We arrived at the church Saturday morning to meet the florists who were busy decorating. We prepared the programs, personalized fans, the M & N wreaths for the front doors and layed out the runner ready for the groomsmen to unroll. It looked great!
Next we headed to meet Marti and her bridesmaids at her parents home. The photographers arrived and the excitement began. Marti is stunning and her parents' could barely contain their tears. Marti's bridesmaids are fantastic and only add to the layed back, carefree atmosphere that is refreshing and keeping Marti calm, cool and collected! Meghan took off to meet the Groom and Groomsmen at the church, unfortunatly they arrived without their boutineers, which they were suppose to have received from the florist at the hotel, oops! But, as they say, the show must go on! We made do, and pinned the groom with his soon to be father-in-law's boutineer we had recieved with the girls flowers. We were able to get the boutineers to the chuch, and pinned everyone else after the ceremony, just in time for pictures! And that was the ONLY hitch in the entire day! Meghan and I then headed to the The Hilton to set up for the reception. The venue was great and very easy to work with! After setting up all of Marti's fantastic details we headed to the most fantastic place to take pictures; Gibraltar (Marian Coffin Gardens), in Wilmington, DE.
On top of the amazing scenery, Marti provided the girls with the green parasol's and fablous sun glasses.
We are super excited to see the professional photo's by Michael's Photography. Michael & Liz were fantastic to work with, professional and creative! The night was topped off with a fun photo booth and dancing all night long! Congrats to the newlyweds, we loved meeting you, your friends and families!
