As we're waiting for the amazing shots from the ceremony and reception - we wanted to give you guys a tour of the tents and the transformation of the property. This firefly themed wedding was full of tipi tents, colorful florals, textured rugs and a variety of vintage furniture. Each tent was unique with its own food station, aesthetic and purpose - there was so much to do and so much to see! One tent had bohemian wicker basket light features while the other had classy chandeliers, all 3 set-ups had different cultured foods including; Japanese, Mexican, American, Italian etc. The tents also had photo booth opportunities, bars, fireplaces, there was a huge dance floor in the middle of the property and various lounge areas around the lawn. This wedding was the most spectacular, EPIC and unique wedding we have ever done... We wish we could experience it all over again - maybe as guests this time??? And not to mention, we fell in love with this couple and their amazing families! Okay let me shut up now and leave the pictures to do all of the talking... Marty and Mike got married at the amazing Horticulture Center which fit their "exotic jungle theme" wedding to perfection. A wedding has never come around in full circle like this one - starting with the invitations to the florals, the entire design of this wedding just bled into each other perfectly. As you will see scrolling through these pictures the entire wedding from start to finish fit their personalities just flawless. Very colorful, bubbly, and so outgoing. This couple was stunning inside and out and we absolutely loved planning this amazing wedding! Marty was the most amazing bride - she completely put her trust in us as wedding planners which made the experience super easy and calming. She was so bubbly, happy, in love and obviously, STUNNING!! I don't even know where to begin. Okay, I'll start with the obvious, they are an absolutely gorgeous couple. (Seriously, you find yourself wondering if you stand close enough will it rub off?!) But these two are so much more than their really, really, ridiculous good looks. We met Amanda and Andrew via Skype, since they were living in Hong Kong at the time. They were enjoying a nice glass of wine and me, a nice cup of Joe. In our first Skype chat, Andrew gave me a short (but UBER sweet) explanation of how their paths crossed. Andrew is from and was working in Australia. News that he was being transferred to NYC came and he was pretty pumped at the idea. At the last minute, his transfer ended up being changed to Hong Kong. Amanda is from America and was working in NYC. That is until her job offered her a position in Hong Kong. Both, expats, living in Hong Kong, Andrew found his NYC girl. Quite possibly one of the sweetest, most loving families we have had the pleasure to work with. Does this reception not remind you of the Cleary wedding in Wedding Crashers? Amanda and Andrew have been able to experience so many different countries together. City names that they visited together were used for their table numbers. Thank you, Amanda and Andrew, for sharing your Friday evenings with me over Skype. Cheers (me with coffee, you with wine) to the happiest future! ~Meghan Venue: Brandywine Manor House
