Wednesday evening Kristin and myself were invited to a networking event hosted by the knot. It was held at an amazing space, Front and Palmer in Philadelphia. The venue was a mix of steel beams, rustic hardwood floors, exposed brick walls and chandeliers made from netting holding incandescent light bulbs. A truly unique space!
As cool as the floors were (and I LOVED them), because of their rustic nature there were gaps. As we ordered our first (yes, first) round of drinks we were starting to feel like we were intoxicated. The floors were attacking our heels! After about 20 minutes of grabbing onto strangers (although a great networking technique) to catch yourself from falling out of your shoe, we found our SOLEMATES, high heeler!! A genius woman came over to us with an adorable drawstring bag filled with 2-rubber heel covers-our SOLEMATES!! The SOLEMATES are a brilliant tool that enlarges the base of any stiletto or kitten heel to prevent your heels from getting stuck in grass or having to latch onto strangers to help you from falling into cracks! They really work!! Sometimes weddings involve grass or cracks…these would be a great welcome gift for all of your female guests!! Comments are closed.
