September is my favorite month for weddings and weather. This wedding was no exception. The weather was perfect and the wedding even better. Lindsay and Marc met at Rutgers University and have since moved to Minnesota. They chose the Smithville Inn, in Galloway, NJ to say I do. Planning an out of state wedding is more than stressful, but Lindsay did a great job pulling it all together! We served as wedding day coordinators making sure the day went as Lindsay (and Marc) planned! Awesome backdrop for a vintage wedding! I simply love this shot-M2 Photography is one of my new favorites! Fun groomsmen were up for anything! This shot says it all! A simple, elegant, rustic venue! Perfect! The details are truly what make a wedding unique and Lindsay (and Marc) thought of everything! Meghan and I had a great time setting it all up, making sure it was exactly what Lindsay invisioned. photos by M2 Photography We couldn't be happier for this down to earth couple! Congrat's to the new Mr. & Mrs!

We recently added a new member to the Kyle Michelle Wedding team! Olivia is a twenty something year old, New Jersey native. Her parents, Barbara and Henry, immigrated to the US from Poland around thirty years ago. They lived in South Africa for several years, where her older sister, Natalia, was born. After leaving South Africa, they moved to the small town of Bridgeton, New Jersey, where the family still resides today.
Olivia graduated from Our Lady of Mercy Academy, in Newfield, in 2008. Shortly after graduating, she relocated to Wroclaw, Poland, where she studied at Wroclaw University of Economics. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, in 2011. After graduation, she stayed in Poland for a year longer, to be an English tutor. In June of 2012, she moved back to the US, in order to follow her dream of becoming a wedding planner. She is currently enrolled in a certification course, through the Wedding Planning Institute, to become a Certified Wedding Planner. Olivia has always been admired by her friends as the party planner. She has an enormous passion for both the planning and setting up of events, as well as, seeing the excitement and joy on guests’ faces. She prides herself on her organizational skills, eye for design, attention to detail and sense of humor. In her spare time, Olivia loves cooking dinner for her family, traveling to new places, and working on DIY projects. The movie Maid of Honor came out in 2008 and I thought, for certain, that there would be a surge of brides having their brothers, male friends, etc. be their BridesMEN (as we like to call them). We hadn’t seen it until our last two weddings. In our first wedding the “Bridesmen” were close friends of the bride who have been by her side for years. Our second bride had her three brothers stand up next to her, one was even her actual Maid of Honor who dutifully held her bouquet during the ceremony (literally the closest, sweetest family…EVER). We so often mention how weddings are becoming less and less traditional in each couples own way. Having Bridesmen is definitely one of the least traditional and most unique elements to a wedding we have seen so far. In the past, if a bride had a really close brother or guy friend the couple would have him stand on the groom’s side to be a part of the wedding. We say, if you have a brother or friend who you want by your side on YOUR special day…do it!! And no, they don’t have to wear a dress! Would you have your best guys stand up as your Bridesmen? photo by Kevin York Photography
