We love a good SURPRISE, especially when it is for one of our couples getting married in 2021. Alex and Steve are getting married March 13th 2021 at Ellis Preserve and ironically, Steve is turning 30 in a day or so, so his sweet Fiancé wanted to do something special for him and we hopped right on in. Being a big Philly sports fan, we took our ideas and ran with them to make the perfection 30th celebration! The party was at Kaminski's Bar and Grill in Cherry Hill, NJ - they had an outdoor tented patio with Edison bulbs, fire pits, TV's with sports on, it was perfect for a quant get together, and the food was great!
This AMAZING sports cake is from The Cake Boutique in Mullica Hill, NJ. They went above and beyond with the design we gave them. Why have 1 sports cake when you can have a compilation of all 4? Not only did it look good, but the chocolate chip and peanut butter filling was to die for. Philly Philly!
Custom centerpieces for each table. We just wanted to dress-up the outdoor tables and make it comfortable and cute.  Custom work by Kyle Michelle Weddings - we made 'Aged to Perfection' custom koozies, Hangover Kits with some necessities inside, and centerpieces with fun booze. We got Steve a nice big bottle for his birthday to drink AFTER all the wedding business is over. We really took this theme of 'Aged to Perfection' and tried to keep it throughout the event.   We also made fun signs with some of the most famous Philadelphia sports quotes and put those around the tables. We had one from each sports team; Phillies, Eagles, 76ers and Flyers. We wanted to give the guests something to chat about! *Cough cough, when we won the Super Bowl*   As we're still in some difficult times with COVID, we had a separate invitation for some people who couldn't make it to the party so they could join us on Zoom. We told them to grab a drink, order some pizza and join the party virtually!
This was SO MUCH FUN to plan and we can't wait to keep planning everything in the future for this amazing couple. Stay tuned for their amazing wedding in 2 weeks, the blog of the special day will be much bigger and more detailed!
